Swole Patrol ease past cantwinalan; qualify for ESL Pro League S9

With a dominant performance in the ESEA MDL S29 Finals, Swole Patrol defeated cantwinalan 2-0 (16-8 Overpass, 16-1 Cache) and grabbed a slot in the next season of ESL Pro League

By winning the pistol round and then Braxton "⁠swag⁠" Pierce and Ian "⁠motm⁠" Hardy combining for an unlikely retake, Swole Patrol grabbed a 4-0 lead early on cantwinalan's map pick, Overpass. cantwinalan then converted a 5v3 advantage into their first round by executing on A and got the score back to 4-3.

A comfortable A site retake helped Swole Patrol grab momentum once again, with Brandon "⁠Ace⁠" Winn leading the charge for the team as they advanced their lead to 8-3. However, cantwinalan recovered towards the end of the half, finishing the T side only one round down after a B explosion worked out to give them their seventh.

After the switch, it was all about Ryan "⁠freakazoid⁠" Abadir and co., who secured the pistol and reset the CTs early to establish dominance on the offensive side. It didn't take long for them to close out the map, 16-8, and move on to Cache.

Cooper-'s departure didn't stop Swole Patrol from qualifying for ESL Pro League

On Cache, Swole Patrol kicked off with high pace, rushing out on A in the pistol and in the first rifle round, with both rounds being successful for swag and co. (5-0) cantwinalan then locked down B, but similarly to what happened on Overpass, would end up reset in the next round which allowed Swole Patrol to run away with the first half.

As the score was 11-1, Swole Patrol rushed B and instantly got the two entries, continuing their dominance to end the half 14-1. cantwinalan's B rush in the pistol was easily shut down and the game was ended then and there, 16-1, with Swole Patrol taking the series 2-0 and securing the ESL Pro League S9 North America spot.
